CONTACT HOURS

The Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) has changed the formula for determining Contact Hours. A program's actual hours are now to be used. For example, a 1 hour program now receives 1 contact hour. The 2008 Convention education sessions total 11 hours (the same as last year), so based on the new ruling, 11 contact hours will be awarded at the end of this convention. Programs have been submitted for approval to OmniCare Great Lakes Region, Education Division, for contact hours.
