Respiratory Care
The respiratory system supplies oxygen to the body’s cells. Adequate oxygenation is dependent upon several factors to include maintaining a patent airway. During this block
of instruction you will learn techniques used to suction the airway, to include oral, endotracheal and tracheostomy suctioning. You will also learn to perform endotracheal
tube and tracheostomy care and administer a nebulization treatment.
